American Flag Fruit Pizza

Description

A delicious and colorful dessert that combines a sweet cookie crust, cream cheese mixture, and fresh fruits arranged to resemble the American flag.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough (16.5 oz)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 8 oz Whipped Topping (thawed)
  • 12 oz Fresh Raspberries (3 to 4 cups)
  • 1 dry pint Fresh Blueberries (about 2 cups)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Open the tube of cookie dough and slice it into 1/4 inch pieces.
  3. Place the cookie dough slices on a lightly greased 12-inch pizza pan and press them into an even layer.
  4. Bake the cookie crust for 11-12 minutes until it is lightly browned. Let it cool.
  5. While the crust cools, wash and dry all the berries.
  6. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together until smooth.
  7. Then, beat in half of the whipped topping.
  8. Finally, gently fold in the remaining whipped topping.
  9. Scoop close to half of the cream cheese mixture onto the cooled cookie crust and spread it all the way to the edges.
  10. Use blueberries to outline the pizza and create the blue portion of the flag, then place the star cookie on top.
  11. Use raspberries to create the seven red stripes and pipe in the white stripes using the remaining cream cheese mixture.
  12. Keep the pizza in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.

Notes

Serve chilled for the best flavor. Customize fruit toppings based on preference or season.
