Description

A vibrant, fresh homemade chunky guacamole made with ripe avocados, cherry tomatoes, jalapeño, and lime. Perfect for parties or a quick dip. Ready in 15 minutes with no preservatives.

Ingredients

Scale

3 large ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, and diced
1 large jalapeño, cored and finely-diced
Half a small red onion, finely diced
Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tablespoons)
1 cup diced tomatoes (cherry tomatoes work great)
2/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions

Peel, pit, and dice the avocados into ½-inch pieces
Finely dice the jalapeño (remove seeds for milder heat)
Finely dice the red onion
In a large bowl, combine avocados, jalapeño, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro
Add lime juice and salt
Gently mix until just combined (avoid overmixing to maintain chunky texture)
Taste for seasoning and adjust as needed
Chill for 2 hours to let flavors meld before serving

Notes

Chill for at least 2 hours before serving for best flavor
Customize heat level by adjusting jalapeño seeds
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 days
Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos/nachos
