Description

A quick, elegant side dish where roasted asparagus is elevated with garlic and parmesan. Crisp-tender stalks are coated in a savory garlic-parmesan blend for restaurant-quality flavor in 20 minutes. Pairs perfectly with mains like chicken, steak, or salmon.


Ingredients

1/2 pound fresh asparagus spears
3 cloves minced garlic
23 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Olive oil spray (or 1–2 tablespoons olive oil)


Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut asparagus spears to uniform length, reserving woody ends if using.
Toss trimmed asparagus with olive oil spray or oil to coat evenly.
Arrange on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
Roast for 10 minutes.
