Description

Delicious cheeseburger sliders featuring savory beef and melted cheese stacked in sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • ⅓ cup finely diced yellow onion (about 1 small onion)
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • 3 teaspoons dill pickle relish
  • 10 slices (8 ounces) cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces monterey jack cheese (shredded)
  • 2 (12 count) packages Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 12 teaspoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and onion, cooking until the beef is no longer pink.
  2. Remove from heat and drain any excess grease. Stir in salt, garlic powder, black pepper, mayonnaise, ketchup, and pickle relish.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Slice the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on the baking sheet.
  5. Place cheddar cheese over the bottom buns, followed by the beef mixture, and then sprinkle on shredded monterey jack cheese.
  6. Top with the upper halves of the buns.
  7. Melt butter and brush it over the top of the rolls. Optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and sliders are warmed through.
  9. Slice into individual sliders and serve.

Notes

Feel free to customize with extra toppings like lettuce, tomato, or more pickles. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
