Delicious cheeseburger sliders featuring savory beef and melted cheese stacked in sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for gatherings.

- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- ⅓ cup finely diced yellow onion (about 1 small onion)
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- ⅓ cup ketchup
- 3 teaspoons dill pickle relish
- 10 slices (8 ounces) cheddar cheese
- 4 ounces monterey jack cheese (shredded)
- 2 (12 count) packages Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
- 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1–2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and onion, cooking until the beef is no longer pink.
- Remove from heat and drain any excess grease. Stir in salt, garlic powder, black pepper, mayonnaise, ketchup, and pickle relish.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on the baking sheet.
- Place cheddar cheese over the bottom buns, followed by the beef mixture, and then sprinkle on shredded monterey jack cheese.
- Top with the upper halves of the buns.
- Melt butter and brush it over the top of the rolls. Optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and sliders are warmed through.
- Slice into individual sliders and serve.
Notes
Feel free to customize with extra toppings like lettuce, tomato, or more pickles. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
