Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken tenders, thighs, or breast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 stick butter
- 8–10 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan, grated
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (more if desired)
- 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup fresh parsley, minced
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Prep and skewer chicken: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the chicken in the mixture until well coated. Thread the chicken onto skewers.
- Make the garlic Parmesan butter sauce: In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in grated Parmesan, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, and fresh parsley. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Cook the chicken: Preheat your grill or oven. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through. If baking, place them on a baking sheet at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes.
Notes
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning. Experiment with different spices for a customized flavor.
