Description

Delicious turkey burger sliders with BBQ sauce and Cajun seasoning, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound 93% lean ground turkey
  • ½ cup yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Kickin’ Cajun Seasoning Mix
  • 12 dinner rolls (brioche style or sweet Hawaiian)
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise (regular or light)
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (or to taste)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (divided, I used pepper Jack)
  • 2 teaspoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Warm olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and chopped onion, and cook until turkey is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
  2. Pour off excess grease and return skillet to heat. Add BBQ sauce, Dijon mustard, and Cajun seasoning, stirring well to combine.
  3. Reduce heat to low and cook for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Separate the rolls using a serrated knife and place the bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Mix mayonnaise and Sriracha in a small bowl, then spread over the cut sides of the rolls.
  7. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the mayo, then layer the turkey mixture and top with remaining cheese.
  8. Cover with the top halves of the rolls, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  9. Bake for about 10 minutes or until cheese melts and tops are golden.
  10. Let sliders rest before serving warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the turkey mixture sit for 30 minutes before assembling. Customize sliders with your favorite toppings.
